2026 Hyundai Verna offer exclusive features, design and mileage at Price of ₹10,98,400 starting with base variant
The Hyundai Verna facelift finally makes its Indian debut as a mid-cycle revamp that gives the exterior a bit more bite, bumps up the tech in the cabin and takes the safety stakes higher for its rivals. Hyundai Motor India rolled out the model on 9th of March 2026 at a price that starts at exactly ₹10.98 Lakh and which features a whole bunch of different variants and features to choose from.
According to Hyundai’s own press release the Verna facelift launched from their Gurugram base on the same 9th of March 2026, and - somewhat predictably - they are billing the update as a big upgrade in terms of technology and safety rather than a full-blown new generation model. Launching on this particular date certainly caught everyone's attention and has been generating lots of noise in the Indian automotive press.
2026 Hyundai Verna Variant Price
Hyundai has given the Verna a makeover when it comes to its 2026 variant lineup and pricing. They're sticking with their HX-n naming scheme and giving customers a choice of manual, IVT/CVT, or even a DCT transmission depending on which petrol engine they go for. And, if you're looking at what kind of cash you'll need to part with - here are some ex-showroom prices that are out there:
- HX2 (a 1.5 MPi engine with a manual transmission): ₹10,98,400. That's right, almost eleven lakhs for the base model.
- HX4 (also a 1.5 MPi but this one's with a manual): ₹12,25,400. So, around 12 and a quarter lakhs if you want a bit more in the way of standard features.
- HX6 , HX6+ and HX8 - these three have a 1.5 MPi engine with either manual or CVT transmission options - expect to pay in the ballpark of ₹13.19 lakh to ₹16.09 lakh depending on what you choose.
- HX8 and HX10 models, and you're looking at a 1.5 Turbo GDi engine - manual or 7-DCT auto - the HX10 7-DCT tops out at a cool ₹18.25 lakh.
So yeah, if you're getting the lowdown on the Verna from different places, this is the kind of pricing you'll see - but just to remind you, that on-road price will depend on the state and the dealer you end up buying from.

Safety & Driving Features
The facelift got Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS, a 7 airbag setup ( centre side airbag included) and a bunch of other safety features like an integrated dash cam and surround view monitor. You can also expect some pretty advanced lane and auto braking systems on the mid and top variants, along with blind spot monitoring.
2026 Hyundai Verna Powertrains and Fuel Efficiency Commitment
Hyundai offers two petrol engine.
1.5-litre MPi - naturally aspirated - you can pair that with a 6-speed manual or IVT/CVT and you're looking at about 115 horsepower and around 144 lb ft of torque. The manufacturer and some spec aggregators are saying you should be able to get around 18-19 miles per gallon according to its ARAI-type claimed figures.
1.5-litre Turbo GDi - if you want a bit more grunt then you've got a performance-focused option that'll give you around 158-160 horsepower and around 253 lb ft of torque from a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. And apparently the ARAI-style economy figures for that turbo/DCT package are around 20 miles per gallon, though I'd be surprised if you get close to that in real life - driving style and traffic will have a lot to do with that.
Incredible mileage: The figures you see from the manufacturer are basically just numbers they came up with in a lab. Real-world tests and what owners are actually getting in the real world tend to be a lot lower - especially depending on how you're driving and whether you're stuck in traffic or cruising down the highway. Use those claimed figures as a rough guide and get a feel for the car on a test drive to get a better idea of how you'll be doing in real life.
What is news in Hyundai Verna Facelift Whole New Interior?
The cabin update is all about giving you that next-level feel every time you get in the car. The dual curved screens make your interior look super modern - like a high-tech bay that just happens to have seats in it. The D-cut steering wheel and leatherette trim really do make this car feel pricier, though. Then there are the actually useful upgrades (like that cool little step-in thing, the smart truck, and a bigger boot space) that make the Verna way more family-friendly. And if comfort and tech is your thing, then you're in luck - the Bose speakers and heated seats will probably sway you towards the higher-end models. And if you really want a car that just connects with you (you know, like a smartphone, but on wheels), then the extra Bluelink suite and built in voice control will definitely tip the scales in favour of the HX variants.
The Right way to buy 2026 Hyundai Verna
- You're on a budget and mostly drive in the city: go for the HX2 or HX4 with a 1.5 MPi manual - this one offers the best value for money and running costs.
- You want to feel like royalty: then the HX6 or HX6+ with a fancy auto box is the way to go - you'll get all the bells and whistles, including electric seats and heated front seats, which is basically the ultimate in comfort and convenience.
- You want a real head turner and don't mind paying a bit more for it: the HX8 or HX10 Turbo-GDi with that fancy 7-speed box is your best bet - it will give you the punchiest acceleration and be a real breeze on long road trips. Just be prepared for a bigger hit on insurance and running costs.
